Our Story

Neighborhood Nurses is a company run by charismatic people who love what they do and who they help. Joe and Kathy Pennigar founded the business after recognizing a need in the market for health care services. Kathy is a registered nurse with more than 28 years of experience in home health care. Neighborhood Nurses started its life with only one client and five nurses, but after a great deal of growth they now serve over 140 clients a year. At any given time, they can call on over 200 employees.

Our goal at Neighborhood Nurses is to continue skilled nursing care from the hospital to the privacy of your home. We believe there is no place like the comfort of your home to care for your health care needs.
